Kabayan, kumusta na tayo dyan? In the past week, nothing much to report about "what's going on" in the Fil-Am community here in the valley except for the Angelos' concert a week ago at Cine El Rey, and of course the 25th wedding anniversary of our beloved Roy and Cherry Somosot. The Angelos' concert, featuring Jonathan Badon, was once again a success. However, there were still great number of people who missed this great ensemble of singing talents. So, the producers decided to bring them back on stage on September 13, 2009 at the CFC hall in Trenton St, McAllen Texas. Visit your nearest Filipino Stores for the $ 20 ticket.

"To Tita Cherry and to my KC Bro., Roy Somosot, congratulations on your 25th anniversary". The beloved couple renewed their wedding vows in the presense of their closest friends - which is the great majory of Fiilipinos in valley. More power to both of you.

Another "number" celebration was that of Adevie Amper and Viviane Chavez. The Copperfield Club House was packed with well-wishers of Adevie. She turned ?? that night. On Viviane's party, unfortunately I didn't get to drive myself to Weslaco. I was told they had a great birthday party over there too. She turned ??th night too.  "Viviane, my apologies for not making it to your party. I'll make it up on your kids party"
